Through art, I hope to celebrate and reflect on the creation, vitality, and temporality of flowers—and in turn of our own lives.

I am fascinated by the life cycle of a flower — with its transience and unpredictability — as an allegory for the impermanence and beautiful cadences of the human experience.

From trips to flower markets to surprise gift bouquets, flowers serve as gentle reminders of the rhythms of nature. I love creating floral arrangements that are preserved as pressed blooms and petals, each evolving in their color, scent, and structure. These snips of nature are frozen in time and woven into the canvas.

I am still trying to grow flowers in my city apartment, a work in progress but staying hopeful.
